Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is an employment program assisting individuals with disabilities, including Floridians with the most severe disabilities to pursue meaningful careers commensurate with their abilities and disabilities. VR has 1016 employees with staff in a Tallahassee headquarters office, six area offices, and 116 field offices located throughout the state. The Program is administered through the Office of the Director of Vocational Rehabilitation and the three Bureaus: Field Services, Compliance and Oversight, and Rehabilitation and Reemployment Services.
VR is governed by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Florida Statute, Chapter 413. The mission of VR is to focus on results, employment, and independence for individuals with disabilities.
